Japanese Ki Astrology
The Ki, Ki Astrology or Nine Star Ki, is a system akin to astrology, based on the eight trigrams of the I Ching, the Luo Shu (map of the river Luo) and the 9 Taoist Stars of the Big Dipper. With origins in China, it was developed several centuries ago in medieval Japan. It is said that the famous Shogun, Ieyasu Tokugawa, who unified these islands in the 16th century, used the Nine Star Ki in his political and military strategy.
It is a relatively simple form of astrology, and the basic concepts can be assimilated in a weekend. Even so, it can also be the study of a lifetime and is very useful in several areas, especially with regard to the analysis of the human personality and dynamics of relationships. There are 81 basic personalities in all.
The Ki considers that time is circular and is based on cycles of 9 years, nine months, 9 days as the name foresees. “Directionology” is one of the most powerful tools derived from this art, and that can and should be used for travel, distance communication and in particular permanent residence changes.
